Rent-A-Center, Inc. (NASDAQ/NGS:RCII), today announced the promotion of
Ron Schoolcraft to vice president of business development for
AcceptanceNOW (ANOW).

ANOW operates 1,355 rent-to-own kiosks in third-party retail stores
across the country.
Reporting to Mark Denman, executive vice president of ANOW, Schoolcraft
is responsible for all ANOW store support, Virtual AcceptanceNow (VAN)
support, corporate collections, business-to-business sales and VAN
enhancements.

growth of our kiosk model,” said Denman.
An 18-year Rent-A-Center veteran, Schoolcraft was hired as an account
manager and his ascension through the ranks of management included
stints as a district manager and later as a regional director for both
Rent-A-Center’s core stores and its ANOW kiosk business. While a
district manager in 2007, Schoolcraft opened the first-ever ANOW
location in Union Park, Florida. This store and several more under his
leadership became the foundation for the ANOW business model.
