Company marks new store opening with $1,000 donation to Big Brothers

WEST HAVERSTRAW, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 2013--
Rent-A-Center Manager Chris Jarrin and his three-person sales team are
pleased to offer residents of West Haverstraw an additional option when
it comes to acquiring ownership of high-quality furniture, appliances,
electronics and computers.

The new Rent-A-Center is located at 45 South Route 9W. Members of the

opening celebration on Friday, Nov. 15 at 11:00 a.m. At the
ribbon-cutting ceremony, Rent-A-Center will contribute $1,000 to Big
Brothers Big Sisters of Rockland County. Gillian Ballard, the
organization’s president and CEO, expressed her appreciation for the
contribution.

said Ballard. “All funds received by BBBS go into the cost of matching
at-risk youth with qualified, fully screened mentors, thus forging
significant, strong, long-lasting relationships which will ultimately
make a positive difference in the lives of these children.”
In conjunction with the grand opening ceremony, the store will also hold

Rent-A-Center operates 179 locations in the state of New York. The West
Haverstraw location is open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through
Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
