ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 13, 2013--
Rent-A-Center, Inc. (NASDAQ/NGS: RCII), today donated 10 desktop
computers to Covenant House New Jersey. The donation is tied to a
philanthropic initiative dubbed “Random Acts of Caring,” launched by
Rent-A-Center in 2008.
“The generosity shown by Rent-A-Center is a direct reflection of their
values. Our young men and women can now utilize these new computers to
advance their educational and vocational pursuits,” said Brian Nelson,
South Jersey director of Covenant House.
Covenant House is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving youth
with respect and unconditional love while offering shelter and a wide
variety of services. It has been serving homeless and at-risk youth in
Atlantic City since 1989. The donated computers will be utilized in the
shelter’s educational and vocational classroom and in areas impacted by
Hurricane Sandy.

important work in meeting the needs and improving the lives of at-risk
