Rent-A-Center Opens Second New Orleans Store
NEW ORLEANS, Jun 24, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Rent-A-Center manager Rodolfo Mann and his four-person sales team are pleased to offer residents of New Orleans an additional option when it comes to acquiring ownership of high-quality furniture, appliances, electronics and computers. "The opening of a second New Orleans store will increase opportunities for us to continue serving the needs of our customers," said Mann. The new Rent-A-Center is located at 1320 N. Broad St. The 3000-square-foot showroom features merchandise from brands such as Ashley, Serta, HP, Sony and Whirlpool.
Members of the community will help welcome Rent-A-Center to the neighborhood at its grand-opening celebration on Saturday, June 25, at 11:00 a.m. At the time of the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Rent-A-Center is donating $1,000 to the Christian Light Missionary Baptist Church and $1,000 to 2-Cent Entertainment, a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting the Greater New Orleans area through the community service and creative expression of high school students.

Rent-A-Center operates 47 locations in the state of Louisiana. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays.
